Anyana Church Soon to Rise

A historic moment unfolded in Anyana on July 31, 2024, as the groundbreaking ceremony for the Anyana church named after St. Ignatius of Loyola, “The Church of Saint Ignatius of Loyola,” in Tanza, Cavite took place. The event marked the beginning of a new chapter for the community as it prepares to welcome a spiritual haven that seamlessly blends faith and culture.

Designed by the esteemed architectural firm H1, the church is set to be a stunning masterpiece inspired by the vibrant Tanza Caracol Festival and the biblical story of Noah’s Ark. This 670-square-meter architectural marvel will accommodate up to 300 worshippers. This unique fusion of modern architecture, local heritage, and religious symbolism will create a truly distinctive place of worship.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by esteemed religious leaders including Bishop Reynaldo Evangelista, local government officials Vice Mayor Archangelo “SM” Matro, Cavite Provincial Board Member Crispin Remulla, and Antel Land President Felicitas D. Ong. The occasion was filled with hope and anticipation as everyone gathered to witness the laying of the cornerstone for this significant project.

The new church will serve as a spiritual center for the growing Anyana community and the surrounding areas. It will offer a place of solace, worship, and fellowship for people of all ages.
We envision a brighter future for our community here in Anyana as we eagerly anticipate the completion of this new spiritual haven. This landmark will enrich the lives of generations to come.
